Review by hotel critic
During my recent city break at Taiheikan, I was utterly charmed by this good ryokan. The staff, especially Hiromi, went above and beyond to make us feel at home, creating a lovely atmosphere that elevated our experience. Our air-conditioned room was spacious and tastefully decorated, complete with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the stunning nearby scenery. Each morning, we indulged in a sumptuous Asian breakfast that was delicious, further brightening our logistics of early morning photography outings. The complimentary shuttle service was also handy, whisking us off to local attractions and making our adventures that much smoother. The serene views of the mountains, especially with the majestic Mount Fuji in the backdrop, were amazing; don't miss the opportunity to catch a time-lapse from your room if you can! Taiheikan provides a beautiful blend of traditional ryokan charm and modern comforts, making it an absolute gem in my travel diary. I can't wait to return!
